The international expansion of hot rodding is a phenomenon that seems to have no end. Across the automotive spectrum from entry-level jalopies to the most expensive custom builds, our sport has gone worldwide. The 12th annual Meguiar’s MotorEx was held in Sydney, Australia’s Olympic Park this July. Produced by MotorActive and billed as “the greatest rides in show,” this event is said to have been the largest to date with a best ever attendance of over 25,000 people to see vehicles with a combined total value of over $50 million dollars.
Happily we can all join in the festivities without booking our plane tickets down under. This extraordinary video produced by the Tith Brothers will absolutely blow your mind! From classics and customs to racers and streeters, the exquisite quality of the entries on hand could not be surpassed anywhere else on this planet.
Sit back and enjoy this video. There is bound to be something on it that you will fall in love with. Most of the vehicle models you will recognize but some will not be all that familiar. Also, it may be a little disconcerting for some when they notice the significant number of cars with right-hand drive. But that does not diminish the exceptional workmanship expended on these motorized masterpieces. Truly any hot rodder anywhere in the world will appreciate the work and craftsmanship put into these magnificent machines.
The MotorEx 2013 is scheduled for July 20th and 21st, and promises to be even grander than before. If by chance any of you happened to be traveling down under during that time, do yourself a favor and make sure you attend this world-class event – and who knows, maybe we’ll see you there!
