In the cynical world we live in, it might seem like love and romance are outdated ideas with no place in modern reality. But every so often, you come across something that reminds you that making a meaningful connection with someone you love is one of the most powerful human experiences. This video is a perfect example.

When it came time to propose to his girlfriend, this UAE Camaro Club member wanted to stand out. There are so many beautiful sights and places to see in Dubai, but a long stretch of secluded highway was the spot that he chose, and for a good reason, too. The man didn’t want his proposal to be boring and cliché; he wanted to make his girlfriend feel like Cinderella.

After rounding up all of his Camaro Club buddies and his girlfriend’s friends, the man organized the arrangement of their cars, who holds which sign up at what time, and when the he would pull up in his yellow SS with two other yellow ones. We first see his girlfriend riding with a friend on the way to the site and she couldn’t help but think that some kind of prank was being played on her, but ohh, wasn’t she wrong…

The man’s girlfriend sees one of her friends holding up a sign that says “It’s A New Cinderella Story,” and she immediately becomes emotional, having no clue what was going on. After all of the signs with cute little messages on them were shown to her, the man pulls up in his Camaro with the two other yellow ones steps out with roses for her and begins to start his proposal speech.

After he moves out of line of sight, she sees his friends with the  yellow Camaros holding up signs that say “Will You Marry Me,” and then he finally pops the question. His girlfriend, now fiancé, replies with an immediate “yes.”

This video was really well made and it even got us a little choked up. Chivalry isn’t dead, people! Definitely share with your friends to spread a little happiness – it’s worth the six minutes.
