In a case of deja vu, we bring you this wildly-modified ’37 Ford hot rod. About seven months ago we covered this very interesting car, equipped with a twin-turbocharged LSX and backed by a transaxle sourced from a Ford GT. That’s right, this thing is mid-engined. We originally discovered this monster on Yellow Bullet, but now it’s back with a video for all of us to take in the sounds and sights.

Despite the fact the video in question is short and sweet, it leaves us begging for more. It’s a simple clip of the engine start up and the Ford taking a ride down the street and back, but everything from the way it looks to the way it sounds is simply awesome. The old coupe was built by Eddie’s Chop Shop out of Orangevale, California, and they have been known to assemble some of the meanest machines around.

Peeking inside the cockpit, and you get an idea of the craftsmanship that has went into this car, with a interesting combination of billet and woodgrain being infused inside the interior compartment. To say that it looks “nice” or “interesting” would be an understatement.

This car sits on a custom, full tube chassis and relies on a C5 suspension to take it through the corners. As you could imagine, Eddie has been taking quite a lot of flack from the Ford purists about installing a GM mill into a Ford, but Eddie continues to brush them off, letting the twin-boosted rod to do the talking for him. We would too.
