Chevrolet is gearing up for the big launch of the sixth-generation Camaro. As part of the hullabaloo surrounding the release, Chevrolet has invited members of the media, including us, to take road trips in the latest bow-tie musclecar.
We’ll be heading from Detroit, Michigan to Nashville, Tennessee next week, behind the wheel of a new sixth-gen Camaro. We’ll be making several stops along the way, producing multiple stories and videos for you to enjoy and wrapping it all up with a very thorough evaluation of the car that we’ll present to you through video and an article at a later date.
It’s unknown to us what version of the Camaro we’ll be piloting on our road trip. To keep things “fair” GM is doing a random draw for the keys to the press vehicles. We could end up with any engine, transmission, or trim level combination possible. While we’re praying to the performance gods for a SS, we can’t help but let our own pessimism spoil the fun and worry that we’ll be saddled with a V6. Whatever we end up with, rest assured we’ll make the most of it.
What we’d like to find out from you, our esteemed readers, is what specifically you’d like to know about the new Camaro? Post your questions below, and be as concise as possible. We’re going to answer the obvious questions about how the car rides, drives, and performs, we’re genuinely curious to know what questions you have about the car.
We’ll be selecting the top questions and responding in an article and video during our road trip as well as on social media. So post your questions below, or in the Facebook thread. You can also use the hashtag #LSXTVroadtrip to follow along with us on social media. We’ll be documenting our trip via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram along the way.
