You Can STILL Win A New C8 Corvette At The National Corvette Museum!

It’s getting harder to give stuff away! At least, that’s what it looks like if your goal is to give away a brand-new Corvette. The National Corvette Museum (NCM) in Bowling Green, Kentucky conducts a series of raffles each year as a way to raise funds for the day-to-day operations of the Museum. The raffle fundraisers are a tremendous help to the Museum and supply a large part of the NCM’s planning and daily operation funds.

Whether you call it a raffle, sweepstakes, or a giveaway, selling tickets for a chance to win something has gotten very regulated. As such, the National Corvette Museum is licensed by the Kentucky Department of Charitable Gaming so they can conduct these raffles and continue funding the daily operation of the NCM. Of course, there are a few necessary steps involved for both accountability and accounting purposes.

The NCM conducts several raffles throughout the year. Prices and options (even a build your own) are available through the various raffles. You can purchase as many tickets for as many raffles as you wish.

One of the factors that make a BIG difference when purchasing a ticket for a chance to win one of these beauties is where you are located. For those physically located in the state of Kentucky, the process is pretty straightforward – go to the NCM’s raffle website and fill out the form, pay with a credit card, and you’re done! Purchasers located in Kentucky can purchase raffle tickets on their personal computers, mobile devices, and on-site at the National Corvette Museum and NCM Motorsports Park.

For those NOT located in Kentucky, you can still obtain tickets to get your name in the big barrel where a winner is drawn every time a brand-new Corvette is given away. It just takes a few different steps in the process, but it’s worth it! Even if you don’t win, you help the NCM with vital funding and you get the chance to enjoy the excitement when they draw the winning ticket.

The process has a few more steps than buying a ticket in the Bluegrass State but isn’t complicated. If you’re the type who reads the fine print, you can see all the contest rules HERE. To help folks understand how this process works, Scott Burklow, accountant for the NCM hosted this YouTube video.

The main difference is that once you choose which raffles you would like to purchase tickets for, you will need to print out the supplied form and mail it to the NCM so they can insert your information into the selected raffles at the NCM. If you still have questions, you can check out the NCM raffle FAQ page.

You will be instructed to sign up for an account to purchase tickets online. It’s free!

You’ll need to create an account through the NCM’s raffle website to make your selections and print out the necessary forms, but what’s a little bit of ink and a stamp compared to owning a brand new C8 Corvette! And, as a bonus, all raffle winners will also enjoy the opportunity of taking delivery of their new Corvette at the NCM as part of the R8C Museum Delivery experience. Hundreds of enthusiasts take delivery of their new Corvette at the Museum each year and this bonus will be yours if you are the lucky winner of one of the NCM Corvette raffles. A VIP tour of the Museum and Corvette Assembly Plant (if available) is included and a one-year individual membership to the Corvette Museum.

Winners receive their new Corvette through the NCM’s R8C Delivery program and get a tour of the Corvette Assembly plant (if currently available).

When you pick up your new C8, you’ll get a VIP welcome to the Corvette delivery area of the NCM and you can view all drawings and deliveries in real-time on the NCM Webcams. You’ll also receive hands-on training by an NCM delivery team member about the features of your new Corvette. A program decal and a wall plaque are all part of the Museum Delivery experience to help you remember the moment. You know, on those rainy days when you’re not driving your Corvette.
