Whipple Superchargers has officially released its all-new 3.8-liter Gen 6 twin-screw LS supercharger system for GM LSX-based engines, including LS3, LSA, LS7, and other popular LS platforms. Developed from the ground up with no compromises, the Gen 6 3.8L system is aimed squarely at builders who demand extreme airflow capacity, proven durability, and consistent performance under sustained boost.

At the center of the system is a completely redesigned, ultra-robust billet supercharger housing engineered to support serious horsepower levels while maintaining efficiency across a broad RPM range. A massive 130mm high-flow inlet feeds the twin-screw rotors with minimal restriction, allowing the LS supercharger to deliver immediate throttle response and strong top-end power. This balance makes the system equally suited for street-driven cars, drag racing applications, and road course builds where heat management and repeatable output matter, especially during long sessions and back-to-back passes.

Fuel and thermal control were given the same level of attention. The system includes -8 billet fuel rails to support high-volume fuel delivery for high-horsepower combinations. A billet modular intercooler lid allows for flexible configurations and future upgrades as power goals evolve. Whipple’s patented dual intercooler, dual-pass design plays a critical role in reducing inlet air temperatures, helping LS engines maintain consistent power pull after pull under boost.
From its all-billet construction to its advanced airflow and cooling architecture, the 3.8L Gen 6 LS supercharger reflects Whipple’s commitment to precision engineering and real-world performance. Designed to withstand extreme conditions, this system caters to serious LSX builders seeking long-term reliability at elevated power levels.
