If you haven’t been paying attention to recent Corvette news, internet click-o-meters went berserk the other day as grainy images of two, snowbird Corvette prototypes ricocheted around the planet.
One clearly stuck out as a mid-engine car with it’s tell-tale snub nose and petite proportions and an equally mysterious C7 ZR1 prototype captured beside it.
What could possibly intrigue Corvette folks more? How about one of the cars completely “naked?”
There’s some deft chopping going on here, kinda like pasting Kate Middelton’s head on a anonymous nude torso. Same with these Corvette renders. Not the real thing, but with a six-pack and couple of smokes, they’ll do…
Meanwhile, workers and cranes are humming along at Bowling Green buffing up the factory to build the aforementioned mid-engine car packing an alleged DOHC V8 along side the C7. This is the most fertile time in Corvette history folks and we anxiously await the rollout of the next generations of Chevy’s world beating sports car. Half the fun is watching as the details come into focus.
Check out the chops and tell us what you think.
