On January 20th-23rd, 2016, the NCRS hosted its 38th Annual “Sun n Fun” Florida Chapter Winter Regional Meet in Lakeland, Florida.
Formed in 1974, the National Corvette Restorers Society is a non-profit hobbyist group dedicated to the restoration, preservation, history and enjoyment of Corvettes model years 1953 and up. The NCRS Chapter Award Program was developed to promote involvement and participation by members in their chapter events.
The Judging Process
In addition to the coveted Top Flight Award®, the NCRS also offers other division judging categories, such as the Performance Verification Award®, the Founders Award®, and the Chevrolet BowTie Award®, among others.
The NCRS compiles and is always updating highly detailed judging standards and rules for each of the model division awards.
This past January, at the “Sun n Fun” Florida Chapter Meet, thirty-three Corvettes received Flight Judging, and twenty-six model years between 1958 and 1995 met the criteria for the NCRS Top Flight Award®.
