Cadillac Teams Up With OCC And PJD To Build Two Custom Choppers

Chances are that if you’re reading this, you’re into Cadillacs as much as we are –primarily the CTS-V series. Apparently, we’re not alone, as the stars of the reality show American Chopper currently own examples of the already iconic muscle car as a result of having the task of building custom choppers with Cadillac’s likeness.

That’s right; recently Cadillac commissioned both Orange County Choppers and Paul Jr Designs to each build a bike with inspirational styling cues coming from Cadillac’s ultimate performance car to benefit the CureDuchenne charity which helps children with the muscular dystrophy disease. Once completed, the bikes will be auctioned off and the proceeds will be given to the aforementioned charity.

But with the producers of the American Chopper show realizing its marketing appeal, it became the first face-off episode between the two Teutuls since Paulie Jr. had infamously left OCC two years ago after  the heated argument with his father. The TLC show entitled, American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior follows along as both teams build the two bikes from scratch implementing as much Cadillac design detail as possible.

There are clips of the two-part episode all over YouTube by at least two different hosts, and you can watch outtakes and clips from the Discovery Chanel site of both episodes here. But we did manage to snag the opening scene of the first episode where both teams get to tour the GM Design Studios and we get a sneak peak of what they’re currently working on (bonus!).

The stars of the show were so impressed with the CTS-V, that Paul Sr. bought a Black Diamond Edition, Vinnie purchased a black sedan (the second he has owned) and it’s rumored that Paulie Jr. picked up a white coupe for himself.

As an added bonus, we’ve also included a clip of members of both teams taking a silver CTS-V sedan around the Monticello Motor Club track to see who could post the fastest times.
