It’s not everyday someone just meandering around a car forum enters to win a brand new car and ACTUALLY wins it, but one lucky member of Camaro5.com named davista04 did just that.

Chevrolet offered the chance to win a brand new 2012 Camaro Synergy along with a meet-and-greet at Talladega with three time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion Tony Stewart on the website. Out of a total of over 280,000 entries, davista04 was the one to win the entire package.

davista04 and his fiance spent May 11th & 12th at the race at Talladega, meeting and greeting all their favorite NASCAR drivers, as well as seeing and enjoying all the behind the scenes action. “We were treated like royalty, the only thing that would of made it better was if my rental wasn’t a Mustang.” said davista04.

davista04 ordered his Synergy Edition Camaro on May 11th in Summit White with a sunroof and manual transmission. He says, “That’s about all I could choose, the Synergy series leave little to wish for.” Even more awesome news for davista04? “After talking to the guys from Chevy, it may be too late to get a ’12, so the car might be upgraded to a ’13”, he says. So now he just has to wait 10-12 weeks for his new Camaro to arrive. Goes to show you that sometimes those silly interweb “Register to Win a NEW Car!” ads really do come true!
