Ever since Zora Arkus-Duntov and his team of engineers began pitting their Chevrolet against some of the fiercest competition in the world, the word “Corvette” has meant the team who stands on the top spot of the podium is going to have to earn it.
That is what makes watching Corvette racing so special. Competing on the global circuit has honed Chevrolet’s sportscar into more than a household name around the world; posters hang on young boy’s and girls’ walls in countries far from the car’s hometown of Detroit, Michigan. And rightly so.
