If you have heard of D3, you know they’re excellent at surpassing their goal of combining elegance with motorsport spirit in the design of each and every one of their products. Yet again, this is the case with their newest release– the “Competition Widebody Conversion” for the 2016 Cadillac CTS-V.
As if we didn’t like this car enough already– they recently built a vehicle showcasing this beautiful new widebody kit, adding function while accenting the V’s clean classy lines. Don’t be fooled by its looks, though, as it allows for quite an aggressive wheel and tire setup– meaning; wider wheels, wider tires, and better handling. The kit alone is listed at 10 grand and can only be installed in-house by D3 in Los Angeles, California.
Allegedly, this is the first ever widebody CTS-V in the United States and guess what?– it’s for sale. You can view the listing for this beast at bjmotors.biz, but don’t get too excited, as it holds quite the price tag. It is listed at $129,995 and, other than the widebody, it features; D3’s competition spoiler, Michelin Pilot Sports (305/35/19 front and 345/30/19 rear), Forgeline wheels (19×11.5”), a custom diffuser, a crank mount boost pulley kit, upgraded headers, intake, and a tune. Sounds pretty good if you ask us.
So what would you rather do? Buy the whole vehicle turn-key and put your trust in the hands of D3 OR get the kit installed on your very own CTS-V and deal with the performance aspects yourself?
