Get out your checkbooks, cash out your 401k, and sell your family and friends off for medical experiments because Chevrolet just dropped a massive update on its upcoming performance flagship and how much it will cost. The 1,250-horsepower twin-turbo hyper-vette just hit became the hyper-budget hypercar with the 2026 Corvette ZR1X MSRP reveal.
The ZR1X made headlines after becoming the fastest American car to lap the Nurburgring, clocking a blistering 6:49.275. With the ZR1X claiming the fastest American production car, the quickest, and now an absolute steal compared to the Mustang GTD it’s been pitted against (its MSRP starts at $327k). With buzz building fast, Chevy has now given us the full breakdown on production variants, pricing, availability, and an exclusive limited-edition spec that will debut at Monterey Car Week.
Corvette ZR1X Pricing and Trim Breakdown
The official 2026 Corvette ZR1X MSRP from Chevrolet (which also includes a mandatory $1,995 destination charge) starts at just $207.395. Here’s how the numbers stack up: pricing starts with the ZR1X 1LZ Coupe at $207,395, the ZR1X 3LZ Coupe comes in at $218,395. If you’re looking for a convertible version, you’re looking at an extra $10,000 over those prices.
The ZR1X will begin reaching customers by the end of 2025, sold as a 2026 model year vehicle. Built on the mid-engine C8 architecture, the ZR1X leverages a potent twin-turbo LT7 V8 engine combined with hybrid drive for the front wheels from the E-Ray delivering supercar-shaming output, racecar aerodynamics, and chassis enhancements drawn directly from motorsport for the road.
Introducing the Quail Silver Limited Edition
Chevrolet is also launching a special-edition ZR1X that’s limited in production and high in exclusivity. The Quail Silver Limited Edition will debut on August 15 at The Quail – A Motorsports Gathering in Carmel, California, as part of Monterey Car Week.
Its defining feature is a striking Blade Silver Matte exterior, marking the first matte finish offered on a factory Corvette in over 60 years. The color pays tribute to Inca Silver, which graced the C1 Corvette from 1957 to 1959. The interior receives a bespoke Sky Cool Gray and Medium Ash Gray two-tone treatment, accented with Habanero orange highlights, one of several new interior themes across the 2026 Corvette lineup.

Additional visual highlights include orange-painted calipers, black exhaust tips, Carbon Flash-painted mirrors, Quail Silver Limited Edition badge on the waterfall speaker, and a numbered build plaque inside the cabin.
Chevrolet on Craftsmanship and Collectibility
“Corvettes are the pride and joy of their owners – this has been true since we first began selling the nameplate more than 70 years ago. They honor its craftsmanship and design as much as its engineering excellence,” said Scott Bell, VP of Global Chevrolet. “The ZR1X Quail Silver Limited Edition presents a highly exclusive option for Corvette customers looking for a collectible item.”
