Since its debut in 1953, the Corvette has been America’s Sports Car. The National Corvette Museum, located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, opened its doors to enthusiasts in 1994. The museum was built to be a non-profit organization to showcase Corvettes of all generations and educate enthusiasts about the history, technology, and heritage of the Corvette.

2014 will mark twenty years of the National Corvette Museum, which means that there will be a celebration! There is a caravan being created by Paul Mariano and NCM Events Manager Karen Renfrow. “The Corvette Caravan is just half of the exciting events occurring in August 2014,” states Mariano. Along with NCM turning twenty, this celebration also holds the grand opening of the new Motorsports Park opening virtually next door.

Track configuration consists of a full course, areas for autocross and skid pad, and more to be announced. The event will cater to Corvette enthusiasts around the world, but the caravans of thousands and thousands of Corvettes will come from all over the United States and Canada.

The 2014 National Corvette Caravan will be the fifth caravan hosted by the Museum. Caravan registration is $5 per person. Lifetime member registration for the 20th Anniversary Corvette Celebration is free; regular member registration is $15 per person and non-member registration is $25 per person. For more information on caravan routes in your area, check out www.nationalcorvettecaravan.com.
