The NCM Motorsports Park is a must-see venue for several reasons. Beyond being a playground for Corvette enthusiasts, it also is within stone-throwing distance of the National Corvette Museum and the Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
The NCM Motorsports Park has activities year-round (weather permitting) and beyond the challenging and expansive road course, also used by the Corvette Racing team to gain practice time, there are various classrooms and garage spaces available for renting. There is also the NCM Motorsports Kartplex for those who enjoy carving corners on a little shorter wheelbase.
Activities keep the NCM Motorsports Park team busy year around and while there aren’t as many events during the winter months, the team has been busy working on a virtual tour that you can take on your computer at home to show you all that the park has to offer. We pulled a few images from our own tour, but you can sign on to their Google Maps page and start your own tour today.
While there isn’t a virtual tour of all the apexes and straights of the NCM Motorsports Park’s track, there are a few videos of cars lapping the course, like the one where Corvette racer Andy Pilgrim kept getting interrupted by OnStar during a hot-lap. Once you get accustomed to the layout and see how much the NCM Motorsports Park has to offer, the only thing left to do is make plans to visit the park first-hand.
