No, it’s not the Barbie Corvette. Los Angeles icon Angelyne is selling the 2008 Corvette with a custom hot pink paint job that many Angelinos will instantly recognize. The Queen of Hollywood billboards has put it up for sale on eBay, with a current bid of $11, 111. The auction is set to end on the 4th of July at 12:15 AM.
This Corvette Is Almost As Famous As Angelyne

Angelyne’s face and hot body are plastered on billboards all over Hollywood and Los Angeles, but her ‘Vette is almost as famous as she is. James Franco and Kim Kardashian have posted tweets and drooled over it. It’s even starred in movies, magazine shoots, and a few movies, the last one being “Masterpiece” by big-time director James Franco.
Angelyne Is A Corvette Fan

Angelyne bought her first Corvette back in the mid-eighties. This one is Angelyne’s ninth Corvette. She epitomizes loyalty to not only a specific make of car, but to the dealership she gets them from, in her case this is Community Chevrolet of Burbank, California.

If you’re thinking of painting your Corvette the same shade of hot pink paint that goes on her Corvettes, you can forget it. Angelyne says “I had a special paint made for me. It has a formula that is very hard to get because it uses a toner that they don’t make anymore.”
