We’re sure you’ve all seen Vengeance Racing‘s new C7 Z06 and the marks they left behind at the dealership with only three miles on the odometer.
They also conducted a test with a new blower pulley and tune back in December and made some great power off of that alone. Now, their C7 Z06 is making quite a bit more power with a Stage 1 camshaft and CNC heads. We knew it wouldn’t take long for Vengeance to tear into the engine and start upgrading crucial components to make more power; it’s what they do for a living.
The dyno run of the car was short and sweet, but informative to say the least. The dyno graph showed that 745 horsepower and 724 pound-feet of torque was made at the wheels – pretty stout for Stage 1 modifications. Although the dyno run was short, there’s no denying how awesome the Z06’s supercharged LT4 engine sounds climbing up the rev range.
After the dyno run, we get to hear how the car sounds at idle with the new cam installed. It has a nice lope to it, but nothing too aggressive at the moment. We’re sure Vengeance Racing will give the engine the attention it deserves in the coming weeks. And by the looks of the sweet Weld RT-S wheels and drag tires, it looks like Vengeance Racing will be taking this beast to the strip soon enough to hopefully set some C7 Z06 records, but we can only wait and see what happens.
Props to Vengeance Racing for building an awesome C7 Z06 thus far. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this one.
