We recently stumbled on this video of a red 4th Gen Camaro showing off a little bit of exhibitionist driving in the parking lot of the most appropriate business imaginable – a tire shop. We don’t know much about the car, but considering that it’s rolling on street wheels for the front and what appears to be a set of 15-inch drag wheels in the rear (most likely wrapped in drag radials), we can make three safe assumptions:
1. That this Camaro is not exactly stock.
2. The owner/driver likes to spend a fair amount of time at the drag strip.
3. He’s at the tire shop to get some fresh drag radials, and decides to convert the last bit of useable rubber into a cloud of white smoke.
Regardless of why he’s doing burnouts in the middle of a parking lot, we have to commend him. After he lays down one nice, smoky burnout – which would’ve been worthy on its own merits – the driver backs up through his own black tracks, and produces a second burnout with an even more righteous cloud of smoke than the first, boiling the rear tires nearly the full length of the parking lot.
Well done sir, well done.
