C.C. Performance has released video evidence of the success of their project 2010 Camaro for street and strip, and it’s a monster! Strapped to their Dynojet 224x, the F-1X Procharger-equipped quarter mile terror ripped out an 1,152 horsepower run, with torque figures in the neighborhood of 960 pound-feet!
How did C.C. create a 9-second Camaro that can still cruise the streets? With a little help from their friends, of course.
Hogan’s Racing Manifolds in Santa Maria, California supplied the custom intake that lets this stock-appearing pony car suck a new hole in the ozone, and American Racing Headers provided a way for all that hot air to get back into the atmosphere. Power is delivered to the cringing tarmac through an RPM Level VI TR-6060 transmission hooked to a DSS 9” rear end.
As you can hear in the video, just the sound of that blown and tuned big block LSX will peel the skin from your face. Nothing short of a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon would be able to get the smile off after a couple of hot passes down at Pomona. Red light challengers (remember, this Camaro is built for street AND strip!) had better be prepared to walk home, ‘cause when the pinks come out, this baby is taking no prisoners!
