Pontiac Trans Am’s were only sold in a very select few countries during the LS1 years. Basically only citizens in North American countries could order one, but it didn’t keep enthusiasts from Middle Eastern countries from acquiring them. Today, even a decade after the cars went out of production, gearheads from Saudia Arabia and Kuwait still hit up the auction sites like eBay to score the Firebird of their dreams.
But instead of buying a car and leaving it alone, the guys over in the Middle East are just as crazy as we are in terms of modifying their cars and picking fights with other game. Namely, Lambos, Porsches, Z06’s, and Nissan GT-R’s. In this case, we have Faisal Alharbi’s LS1 Trans Am WS6, and it’s not stock. Not by a long shot.
Under the hood you’ll find a fully built, naturally aspirated LS with a two-stage nitrous system…you know, just in case. What his actual setup is, we can’t be certain. What we do know is that this Trans Am screams. Both in the audible sense and in a performance standpoint.
He makes mincemeat out of the aforementioned super cars above, plus stroker Fox-bodied Mustangs and cammed LS3 Corvettes alike. It’s a sheer brute, and this car is how a fourth-gen Trans Am should be built in the eyes of your author.
We found this nearly 10-minute video of Alharbi’s Trans Am tearing it up all over Kuwait, and it’s epically awesome. The video does start out a little slow, dramatically introducing the car to the viewer and providing several beauty shots for the audience to take in. But after that, there’s plenty of racing to watch, although we are required to tell you that Power Automedia in no way, shape or form, condones these sorts of actions. Remember kids, keep it at the track.
