It’s no secret that we love nitrous here at LSXMAG, especially when it’s getting huffed by over 400 cubic inches of stroked LSX. In this video we found on YouTube, we get a look at just what kind of difference the bottle can make in a serious race car, in back-to-back runs. The video was reportedly filmed at Edgewater Raceway, just outside of Cleves, Ohio and the star is a 4th Gen Camaro that we are told gets its motivation from a 404 LSX and a healthy dose of nitrous.

From the first glance at this Camaro you can tell it came to play, sporting a set of light-weight Weld RTS wheels in bigs and littles all wrapped up in Hoosiers. Sharp eyes will also notice the battery cut-off switch on the tail panel, giving us the impression that this is no week-end warrior 4th Gen. The first pass we see the blue Camaro make it posts a respectable 11.48 at 122.71 miles per hour, and as the caption suggests, it seems like the 4th Gen was running all motor.

However, on the second pass you’ll immediately notice that something is different. The Camaro has a significantly more violent launch and screams down the track, tripping the beams at 9.8 at 134.91 miles per hour. It’s apparent that the driver decided to hit the magic red button, and effortlessly shaved nearly 1.7 seconds off of his E.T. Man, you gotta love the laughing gas. Check out the video here.
