Video: Watch this Mean Livernois-Built Camaro Put Down the Power

Our friends at Livernois Motorsports really know their way around an LS engine. We see build after build of theirs all over the internet, at car shows, and of course, at racing events such as LS Fest, and the LSX Challenge. It’s almost impossible not to run across one of their videos on YouTube too, and that’s just what we’ve done today.

Love ’em or hate ’em, the 5th-Gen Camaro has a massive following; both with the enthusiast community and in the aftermarket. At this point, you could probably build a complete 2010+ Camaro using entirely aftermarket components – the cars are really that popular.

Having said all of that, if you haven’t watched the video above, then you need to. The Camaro belongs to Livernois Motorsports customer, “Kyle,” and packs some seriously impressive hardware. Not the least of which includes a 429 cubic inch LSX block, stuffed with Callies internals, and topped with a FAST intake manifold and a pair of Livernois massaged LSX/LS7 Stage 3 heads.

Forcing air into the cylinder is a F1C ProCharger with a cog setup with the boost pressure set at 12 PSI, while a set of Kooks 2-inch long-tube headers and a free-flowing exhaust of undisclosed make are utilized to expel the gases as quickly and efficiently as possible.

But a Camaro with a stroked and blown LS will never hook without the right ingredients, and that’s where a set of Mickey Thompson drag radials help the Pfadt suspension keep the 5th-Gen planted to the pavement. It’s a badass machine, one we would love to own ourselves, and with just a tad over 900 ponies to the pavement, it’s sure to impress the most cynical Camaro critic.

According to the dyno graph, this Camaro was pumping out 907 HP and 800 pound-feet of torque to the rear tires – or roughly enough power to get to the corner store and back.
