While cruising YouTube recently we came across this short video of one of the coolest costumes ever; a Bumblebee Transformers outfit that actually does transform! It’s tough to say what exactly is going on in the video, but the caption tells us it was shot somewhere in Las Vegas apparently at a Chevy Dealership promotion of some kind.
About a year and a half ago, we brought you a news story about a similar transformers costume that was, how shall we say; a bit more “boot-leg” – but still no less inventive. In fact, the fact that the original was home-made actually makes it even more impressive. However, as often happens with this kind of thing, it looks like someone took the original idea of the “transforming” Bumblebee and really kicked it to the next level with some better materials for this much more professional looking costume. The wearer just kneels down and bends at the waist, and the entire costume neatly folds up around them in an impressive looking 5th Gen Camaro shell. Click here to check out the video.
