Whipple Superchargers: 2008-2013 LS3 Corvette Supercharger Kit

Whipple Superchargers offers their twin-screw supercharger to 2008 to 2013 C6 Corvette owners who are looking to add a little more power to the already potent LS3 powerplant. The folks at Whipple have engineered an intercooled twin-screw SC system that will work with both stock and modified engines. This kit comes with everything needed to have you smiling as you hit the accelerator on the open road. This system comes with an oversized air-to-water intercooler that feeds massive amounts of cool air to the unit.

According to Whipple, the unique front feed W175ax integrated Whipple twin-screw supercharger can reach 99% volumetric efficiency as well as the power expected from an industry leader like Whipple. Essentially, 2.9 liters of pure joy are yours to explore with your LS3 powered C6 Corvette. However, you will need to be prepared to purchase an aftermarket hood in order for this powerplant to fit properly. Fortunately, Whipple Superchargers and RK Sport have the perfect hood that provides a little extra clearance.

Once installed this twin-screw supercharger will offer your C6 better acceleration thanks to the intercooled bypass system that limits horsepower consumption to less than 1hp during “cruising”. In other words, this supercharger will not force excessive fuel consumption during normal driving conditions also referred to as “cruising”. Helping to feed the engine are a set of high-flow fuel injectors that are designed to meet the needs of the LS3 powered C6 Corvettes. Along with a host of other parts, such as an aluminum high-flow intake manifold and a Whipple Power Flash Programmer from Superchips this kit offers everything needed to add a little “spice” to your Corvette.

The Whipple Power Flash Programmer works much like other tuners, but is specifically designed for the C6 Corvette twin-screw supercharger kit; it recalibrates the factory computer with necessary adjustments to optimize the power added by this product.
