Well, well, well. Look like Mom’s had enough. “You kids have driven me to the end of my rope. Get in the trunk!”
A couple of Pennsylvania gals are in the hoosegow after they stuffed two kids, aged 3 and 5-years old, into the trunk of a Corvette.
Jessica Marie Reger, 29, of Hanover, York County, has been slapped with two misdemeanors for endangering the welfare of a child and two for recklessly endangering another person, according to court records.
Check out her mugshot.
She was ratted out by “witnesses” who said she saw the perps place the unsuspecting tots in the boot of America’s sports car. According to the York Daily Record, Reger and the driver of the sports car, Ilena Gale Blackburn, 28, were pulled over a few blocks down the street where police found the children stuffed into the trunk, police said.
The odd thing about all this is the last ‘Vette to have a trunk – other than the C5 FRC’s – were 1962 models. Most late model ‘Vettes are hatchbacks, but it isn’t quite clear what model Corvette was involved.
Reger, inked up and pierced, doesn’t seem to realize she’s in a heap of trouble.
We don’t know about you, but while cause for concern, does this warrant two misdemeanors? We know of one mom that expertly wielded spatulas and wooden spoons but never went “up the river,” for said transgressions.
For now, we’ll see how this plays out with Corvette’s detractors, as this should be good fodder for social media (and Mustang forums,) around the globe.
