The automotive world is no stranger to the pursuit of extreme power, but in typical fashion, Specialty Vehicle Engineering has pushed the boundary to an entirely new level. Earlier this year, the company revealed its forced induction upgrade for the 2026 Yenko/SC Corvette E-Ray, taking the already impressive hybrid sports car to a staggering 1,564 horsepower. Building on its successful history with GM products like the Chevy Silverado and Cadillac Escalade, the tuner is now focusing its expertise on GM’s electrified, all-wheel-drive platform.

At the heart of this transformation is a heavily reworked 6.2-liter LT2-based V8. The engineering team left nothing to chance, reinforcing the aluminum block with a forged steel crankshaft, forged H-beam connecting rods, and forged 2618 aluminum pistons. High-strength head and main studs hold everything together. To maximize airflow and ensure long-term durability, the package includes CNC-ported cylinder heads, a significantly upgraded valvetrain, and a custom intercooled intake manifold.

The massive power increase comes from a pair of Garrett 58-millimeter ceramic ball-bearing turbochargers. These twin turbos, paired with water-cooled wastegates, produce the eye-widening 1,564 horsepower figure when the engine runs on E85 fuel. SVE upgraded both the high and low-pressure fuel systems, adding auxiliary port injection and flex-fuel capability to support the immense thirst of this setup. While the 2026 Yenko/SC Corvette E-Ray can run on 91-octane E10, achieving maximum output demands E85.

Managing this significant increase in torque required serious drivetrain enhancements. The package features a Stage III 8/9 dual-clutch transmission equipped with billet baskets and enhanced pressure controls to maintain drivability. SVE also added aggressive styling with forged, CNC-machined lightweight wheels alongside Yenko-branded brake calipers. The exterior can be customized with various graphics packages, while the interior receives embroidered details to mark its special status.

With production strictly limited to only 50 units, the 2026 Yenko/SC Corvette E-Ray is destined to become a rare sight. Those interested in claiming one of these incredibly powerful machines are encouraged to contact SVE directly to learn more about pricing and secure their individual build number.
