From Daytona To Talladega

Scheduled for June 7–11, 2027, the 33rd annual Power Tour will take enthusiasts through Florida, Georgia, and Alabama, visiting five iconic motorsports facilities along the way.

This year’s adventure kicks off at Daytona International Speedway, marking HOT ROD Power Tour’s first visit to NASCAR’s crown jewel since 1999. That’s 28 years since Power Tour last rolled into Daytona, and considering how much the event has grown, it should make for one heck of a homecoming.

From there, participants will head to Gainesville Raceway before crossing into Georgia for stops at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Adel and EchoPark Speedway in Hampton. The five-day journey concludes at Talladega Superspeedway over in Alabama.

Here’s the complete schedule:

  • Monday, June 7: Daytona International Speedway — Daytona, Florida
  • Tuesday, June 8: Gainesville Raceway — Gainesville, Florida
  • Wednesday, June 9: South Georgia Motorsports Park — Adel, Georgia
  • Thursday, June 10: EchoPark Speedway — Hampton, Georgia
  • Friday, June 11: Talladega Superspeedway — Talladega, Alabama

For those planning to tackle the entire route, on-site check-in for Platinum, Gold, and Long Hauler participants begins Sunday, June 6, at Daytona International Speedway. Registration information, including Platinum, Gold, Long Hauler, and individual day passes, will be announced soon.

Five Days Of Horsepower And Good Times

Since officially kicking off in 1995, HOT ROD Power Tour has grown from a small staff cruise into one of the largest traveling automotive events in the world. Last year’s celebration of Route 66 attracted a record-breaking 8,253 registered vehicles. For 2027, organizers are shifting their attention to American speed, with racetracks serving as the centerpiece of each stop.

Of course, Power Tour has always been about more than the destinations. It’s about the cars, the people, and the occasional roadside repair that inevitably becomes part of the story. From LS-swapped classics and modern Corvettes to traditional muscle cars, there’s something for just about everyone.

Whether you’re planning to make the entire five-day trek or just catch a stop along the way, the 2027 HOT ROD Power Tour looks like another excellent excuse to put some miles on your favorite LS or LT land rocket. We’ll see you on the road!
