Dedicated Motorsports’ CTS-V Catch Can Kit

Building a high-performance setup on a luxury vehicle used to be a difficult task. Simple items like a good catch can not only have to look the part but perform as well. Luxury vehicle performance builds are not nearly as common as your traditional sports cars most items had to be fabricated on the vehicle. The product would then be sent off for powder coating before being reinstalled. This not only added time but cost as well!

Dedicated Motorsports (DMS) has since stepped up to the plate and is now offering a full range of products that cater to the 2009-19 Cadillac CTS-V and 2016-2017 ATS-V crowds. Hailing from Texas with tig in hand they went from being a custom fabrication shop to a full production line. Showcasing this production line is their newest high-power sheet metal catch can kit. DMS owner Matthew Owen explains, “The reason this catch can come to life is due to the additional crankcase pressure created by the higher power turbo or 2650 cars.”

Ease of Install

Does your mind equate assembling braided lines to a blood glucose meter?  Well DMS has you covered as their catch can kit comes complete with two preassembled -10an inlets lines and one -8an drain line!  The kit also includes a precision-built .125” aluminum tig welded catch can, filter, and valve cover fittings. A simple mechanical aptitude of knowing which way is tight and the minor use of a drill is all that is required to give your monster LSA the crankcase breathing it needs.

The Verdict

While a perfect addition to an already built 2009-2015 Cadillac CTS-V the DMS catch can kit is more than just a simple breather and catch can setup. It’s a time saver and problem solver for high horsepower V’s. The price tag of $499.99 means the hassle of finding a competent and diligent fabricator and coater is easily removed.
