There’s no denying it. You can put together the greatest project car in the world, but if the wheels don’t measure up, the job isn’t done right. It’s a little like slipping an Armani on over your work boots. You can polish them up, but they’re still work boots.
So, when the folks at Lingenfelter Performance Engineering set out to build this Synergy Green 2011 Camaro SS, they knew that the TVS2300 Magnuson supercharger-equipped pony car was going to need something extra when it came to rolling stock. For that, they turned to the wheel masters at Forgeline in order to get strength and beauty in one package.
Now sporting fully polished, 21-inch Forgeline SO3S rims, the Camaro SS has a surplus of stance with its eye-catching, five-spoke design, 3-piece wheels using competition rim halves. The rims are 9.5-inches wide in front and 10.5-inches out back.
The SO3S is a classic five-spoke 3-piece design with competition rim halves. Each wheel is built with forged 6061 T6 centers, 6061 T6 spun rim halves, stainless steel aircraft-grade fasteners that fit into heli-coiled holes in the centers strength and durability. In addition, these use the Hidden Hardware option which uses hidden or ‘blind’ bolts to give the wheels a more understated look.
