Typically as Americans, we take great pride in everything our Great Nation has provided us with. Freedom, liberty, rock n’ roll, and of course, the muscle car. As a culture we shower our machines with love and care, while at the same time, we put them through their paces like we hate them. Either you get it or you don’t.
Americans consider automobiles to be one of the great American pastimes, next to baseball. But we prefer cars to sports here at Power Automedia, so it’s only right we celebrate Labor Day 2012 with our families, our friends, and of course, our great automobiles. It’s just how we do it.
To mark the occasion, we decided to share this video of a black 2002 Camaro SS packing its natural LS1 power under the hood while sitting on a set of chrome C5 Z06 wheels. We’re not exactly sure where this was shot since there’s no information provided with the video, however, thanks to the video’s description, we do know that the Camaro packs a pair of Pace Setter long-tube headers, a Texas Speed off-road y-pipe (ORY), and an LM1 exhaust system.
Of course a boring walk-around video wouldn’t suffice, so we had to make sure it was at least entertaining. The Camaro’s owner, eager to demonstrate the LS1’s power decided to erupt in a series of donuts, while the video’s cameraman shows his enthusiasm by cheering on the car’s owner. Feeling more like a rap battle than a hooning exhibition, the enthusiastic cheerleader continues to egg the hooner on before finally ending with a diss on Ford.
