In the Land of Oz, petrolheads are probably the most wild of all the wildlife combined in the Australian Outback, and we have countless videos to prove it. Massive burnouts, out-of-control donuts, and insane customs are all a part of the car culture down there.
They’re also charitable, as the Street Commodores Magazine has put together one of the sickest Holden meets we could ever have imagined here in the ‘States. Called “Cruise For Charity 9,” it’s an event that covers seven Australian states over the course of Fall.
We’ve first heard about it here in the US just the other day from a recently uploaded video on YouTube. It features some of the nicest Holden we’ve ever laid eyes on, and it makes us want to hop the first jet airplane down to Queensland for the next show.
The event is in its ninth year, with a reported 4,500 vehicles partaking in the cruise/meet/car show, and thousands more spectators from all over. Since it began, Cruise For Charity has raised over one million dollars for various charitable organizations in Australia and New Zealand.
Holden vehicles of all types, model, and year are welcome to join the festivities and there is something for everyone. So for our Aussie readers, if you like Monaros, Commodores, Utes, and classic Holdens, get yourself to one of the remaining five remaining show locations before it’s to late!
