Standing tall as the only GM product to make the list for 2012, the CTS-V has been named to Car and Driver’s “10Best” yet again, where the Cadillac performance flagship has made an appearance every year since 2007. To make the 10Best list, a car must offer good quality, an engaging driving experience, and be a relative value priced under $80,000. If those are the criteria, it’s no wonder at all that the CTS-V continues to make the list year after year. Car and Driver refers to the CTS-V as the “Ace, King and Queen of the American Fleet,” and we couldn’t agree more. (However, there is a noticeable absence of the 5th Gen Camaro and C6 Corvette… )
“Car and Driver’s 10Best list is among the top recognitions for a car to achieve. This really is a testament to those who design and develop our products to be among the world’s best.” said Cadillac Vice President of Global Marketing Don Butler on GM’s website.
Other cars making the 10Best list include the ever present BMW 3 Series, the Ford Mustang Boss 302, and the Porsche Cayman. The list isn’t doesn’t just include sports cars though, and also features the more pedestrian likes of the Honda Accord, the Honda Fit, and the new Ford Focus.
