There is no doubt in our minds that GM made the right move when they brought the Camaro back for the 2010 model year. Since then we’ve seen nothing but added options, upgrades in performance, and those undeniable muscle car looks. The 2013 model year will more of those same great aspects, with many added options and the addition of the long awaited 1LE road-race package. For those of you actually planning to get your own new 5th Gen, the 2013 Online Order/ Reference Guide is now available online. The Online Order/ Reference Guide offers plenty of information for those of you looking to buy a brand new 2013 Camaro, or for those of you just looking to get some of the nitty-gritty details on the new model year car. In addition to the model year changes we already revealed, the guide offers all the RPO codes you could ever need, information on ordering your new car and lists of standard equipment, as well as specifications.
Among the updated list of changes included in the guide, is that 2013 Camaros with manual transmissions will receive newly redesigned shifter knobs similar to the ones found in the 2012 ZL1. The list also reveals that the Rear Vision Package will no longer come with an auto-dimming interior review mirror with rear camera display. Instead, the display will now be in the radio. We also found out that the 1LE package will be getting Performance Ride and Handling suspension.
The 2013 model year offers the most options we’ve seen for the fifth-generation Camaro, with 12 available models to choose from and the additional 1LE SS Performance Package.
