When it comes to computers, people can be pretty selective about the products they use. In fact, some of us can be almost as picky as we are with our rides. Personally, your author is a proponent of Apple products, but there are still many that are still in love with their PCs. The latest in designer computers however, may have you think twice about whatever it is you decide to use.
If you can’t afford the real thing, PCRIDES designed a desktop computer based off of a 5th gen Camaro. The mini-Maro can be had from the low price of $549, and can it do everything that a regular desktop computer can – and it looks about a thousand times cooler too.
Just like a real Camaro, different models and colors are available to fit any taste. All models come pre-fitted with working headlights and taillights along with a pretty nifty bow tie power button. This detailed 1:10 scale model looks almost exactly like the real thing.
According to their website, each computer is a “unique state-of-the-art, all-in-one Personal Computer for home entertainment, gaming, and office use.” You can even hook it up to your HDTV if you please! The best part of the operation is that all of PCRIDES’ products are assembled right here in the good old U.S. of A.
The website doesn’t say much about how quickly the 5th gen replicas are able to process information, but if they’re anything like the real thing you should have no problem peeling wheels through the net with ease. The only potential downside that we see as compared to the real deal is that this replica won’t really help you get the phone numbers of any hotties…
