All around the world, America has collectively achieved a reputation as a nation of heavyweights. But it isn’t easy keeping temptation in check when there is a McDonalds, Arbys, or Dunkin’ Donuts on every corner.

Speaking of donuts, it is National Donut Day, and many places are celebrating by giving away a free donut to customers (some purchase may be required). While we don’t have any circular confections to give away, why not enjoy this video of a Camaro ZL1 delivering a different kind of donut?

With a 556 horsepower supercharged LSA engine and launch control, the Camaro ZL1 can rocket down the drag strip in incredible time for a two-ton hunk of American muscle. With an adjustable magnetic ride control suspension, the Camaro ZL1 is also plenty capable of carving up the road course.

But in celebration of National Donut Day, Chevrolet put out this wicked video of a ZL1 doing, well, donuts. It’s pretty self-explanatory, and very very awesome. Because if you don’t buy a Camaro ZL1 and immediately take it to the nearest empty parking lot for burnouts and donuts, you’re just delaying the inevitable. Get it out of your system already.
