Camaro5Fest - Operation "Sneak Attack"

ORACLE Lighting Technology attended the Indianapolis Camaro5Fest last year with a very unique idea in mind: Secretly take one unsuspecting owner’s Camaro and highly modifying it in just one day with a team of highly trained professionals.

The unsuspecting (and lucky) individual was family man and Camaro enthusiast Justin (pictured left) who just a few weeks prior to shooting this video had experienced a blower belt failure that ruined his Camaro’s hood and rendered it undriveable. When the belt failure occurred, Justin and his long time friend Don (pictured right) were left stranded and scrambling for ideas on how to get themselves back on the road. Thankfully for them, they met Tommy of HALO Supercars who was more than willing to help. Tommy was able to find them a replacement belt and various other parts at 5 pm on a Friday night to get them back on the road.

A few short weeks later, Tommy contacted Don to see if Justin would be a worthy recipient of the project “Sneak Attack” makeover at Camaro5Fest. Don strongly endorsed Justin’s bid for the makeover and that got the wheels in motion for the project. While this makeover was a surprise and limited in time (to only one day!), it did not lack in content. Justin’s 5th generation Camaro was equipped with ORACLE’s side marker lights, Factory Reproductions ZL1 style wheels, DJ Grilles Phantom grill, ACS Composite front splitter, interior dress up kit, and more. This project turned Justin’s stock looking Camaro in the morning into one that is certainly unique and is sure to turn heads.

Camaro Modifications

What else is guaranteed to turn heads, raise eyebrows, or at least create some sort of emotion from passers by is the heavy amount of neon lights used in the night time display of the show. While the LED side markers featured on Justin’s Camaro look very sleek, the jury is still out on the neon LED’s draped on the front end and inside the engine bay of the other display cars.
