The can’t-miss LS event of the year is back and celebrating their fifth year, and preregistration is now open for the Holley LS Fest 2014. For those who are just now discovering the wide world of LS engines, the Fest is a yearly gathering in Bowling Green, Kentucky that combines drag racing, autocross, drifting, a huge car show, and a manufacturers’ midway at Beech Bend Raceway.
To get a feel for what’s in store, you can check out our previous coverage here at LSXMag, but keep in mind there is new stuff going on this year as well:
- Two new drag classes (C7 Corvette Challenge and a COPO Camaro Challenge) have been added to LS Fest. More information on these classes will be posted to the site as it becomes available.
- Last year Autocross and 3S Challenge portions of LS Fest were capped to a 125 car limit in order to ensure enough driving time for participants. This same process will apply for 2014 as well.
- Spectators can enjoy a day at LS Fest for $12 at the gate or save $11 by purchasing a three day ticket for just $25. Tell your friends!
- The search continues for teams to compete in this year’s Engine Swap Challenge. Read up on the details of the event at http://www.holley.com/LSFest/EngineSwap.asp. Holley wants team submissions sent directly to [email protected] for consideration!
Once again, we’ll be there to cover the event for LSXMag, and we suggest that you preregister soon – We’ll see you there!
