Burnouts are awesome, but doing a huge smoky nearly-out-of-control version in front of your house requires questionable judgment at best. Everyone has or will experience the neighbor from hell at some point in their lives; whether or not this guy is that neighbor or just a kid with a Trans Am with a love for tire destruction is unknown. Common sense would tell most people that three gears worth of high-speed burnout on a narrow and questionably-maintained street is not a good idea.
Smoke billows from the rear tires as the driver pushes the Trans Am through the first two gears, and by the time he hits third gear he is really moving. However, slowing down a car that is already in third gear when the rear of the car begins sliding out can be underwear-soiling experience. After car gets uncomfortably squirrely the driver does manage to get it stopped without hitting a parked car or ending up on someone’s lawn. It was a relief that no one was injured and that no parked cars or lawn gnomes were harmed in the making of this YouTube video. Despite the driver’s questionable judgment, the Trans Am sounded pretty good thanks to long tube headers, Borla mufflers and the LT4 Hot Cam.
