Heatshield Products Launches Lava Motor Mount Shields For LS Motors

SONY DSCKeep those factory motor mounts protected from all elements with Heatshield Products‘ Lava Motor Mount Shields. Made from crushed, melted and then fibered volcanic rock, these motor mount shields are acid resistant and can withstand consistent temperatures of 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit. They easily fit over existing motor mounts.

Official Release:

Protect your motor mounts from heat, water, chemical and acid with Heatshield Products Lava Motor Mount Shield. This shield wraps around nearly any factory or aftermarket motor mounts, creating a thermal barrier that protects the mounts from engine and exhaust heat, along with other elements that can reduce the longevity of the mounts.

Made from crushed, melted and then fibered volcanic rock, Lava Motor Mount Shield can be used in both street and racing applications. Designed to withstand continuous temperatures of 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit, Lava Motor Mount Shields are heat, water, chemical and even acid resistant.

The shields install in minutes, and usually removal of the motor mounts is not needed for installation. The first application for the all-new Heatshield Products Lava Motor Mount Shield is LS engines that use the factory-style mounts, such as late-model Camaros, Corvettes, trucks and Cadillacs. The shield can be used with nearly any factory or aftermarket motor mounts, including rubber, polyurethane, polygraphite and even the modern O.E. engine mounts made from rubber with an internal, liquid-filled bladder.

Heatshield Products has engineered and manufactured heat-barrier products for 30 years, serving the performance and racing industry with the highest quality products at competitive prices. The company is family owned and operated, and is proud to make its products in the USA.

Features:

  • Protects rubber, polyurethane and polygraphite mounts from heat, water, chemical and acid
  • Easy to install; fits over nearly any motor mount
  • Designed to withstand continuous temperatures of 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit
