We don’t know how long it will last, but muscle cars are back in full force today. The new Mustang, Challenger, and Camaro are all examples of what can be done when Detroit decides to do something right. The listing of this ’11 Nickey Camaro on eBay is further proof that people everywhere dig modern muscle!
You’ll recall that back in the ’60’s Nickey was one of the dealers that purchased C.O.P.O. Camaro’s and branded them as special Nickey cars. Today those Camaros are worth a fortune, so perhaps now is your chance to buy a piece of future history!
The listing they have on eBay is for the Nickey conversion of a new ’11 Camaro converrible. They begin with a new Camaro convertible and then apply everything required to bring artist John McBride’s rendering to life, which are the pictures you see here.
The conversion includes custom orange premium leather upholstery, Anthrocite Torque Thrust Wheels (20″x9″ on the front and 20″x10″ on the rear), a Nickey functional Stinger II Ram Air Hood, painted Rally Stripes, a blacked out tail panel, and a few other cosmetic goodies.
Under the hood is a supercharged LS3 with Nickey’s own “head and cam kit”, and Pedders Xa coilovers are at all four corners.
With the prices of vintage muscle cars continuing to climb it might actually be cheaper to buy a new Nickey Camaro and enjoy it! Who know, in 20 years you may be able to sell it and send your kids to Harvard with the proceeds!
