It seems there is always something going on at The National Corvette Museum with constant celebrations, new exhibits, and events. This time around, they are celebrating the 30 year anniversary of the Callaway Corvette.
In 1987, Callaway became the first third-party performance shop to obtain an official RPO code for production Chevrolet Corvettes, starting with their very own 1987-1991 twin turbo ‘Vette. Today, after the creation of their record-setting C4 aero package, multiple supercars, and even branching into the V8 truck and SUV market, the Callaway name is one of the largest in the automotive performance industry.
In celebration of their accomplishments with the Chevrolet Corvette, the National Corvette Museum has brought together 15 of their greatest creations– showcasing the very first Callaway Corvette, the legendary Sledgehammer, a Supernatural ’96 Grand Sport, the new SC757 Z06, and many, many more.
The exhibit is currently open, and will close May 5, 2017.
