What’s better than winning a free suspension for your LS car? How about being able to showcase it on the autocross course in front of your peers and the company that you won it from? If the latter sounds better, here is your chance at getting just that at this year’s Holley LS Fest, compliments of RideTech.
Just like in previous years, one of the features of this year’s Holley LS Fest is the RideTech Autocross. As part of the autocross, RideTech is holding their Suspension Challenge. Those who are part of the Challenge will have a chance to run their car on the autocross course all day Friday to get it dialed in and then swap out their current set-up for a new RideTech suspension to run the course with on Saturday and Sunday. Participants get to keep their new suspension system.
Participation in the Challenge is open to all complete LS vehicles that have pre-registered for the Holley LS Fest. Those who want to be part of the Challenge must apply and RideTech will pick at least two individuals to participate. Those who apply must have paint, brakes, a drivetrain and other components that make the car acceptable to run on the autocross course – no unfinished projects will be considered.
Not only is the Challenge about showcasing the performance differences of the RideTech suspension, but also about showing that a RideTech suspension doesn’t have to be only for those who can afford to take their cars to a performance shop. Individuals who are chosen to participate in the Challenge must have the knowledge, man power and tools to swap out their own suspension and will do so at the RideTech booth after their Friday runs. Those who are accepted as participants of the Challenge are encouraged to look up installation instructions for their car prior to the event. RideTech will be contacting the participants the day before the Challenge to make sure they are prepared.
If you’d like a chance to be part of RideTech’s Suspension Challenge at this year’s Holley LS Fest, you still have time to apply for consideration. Proposals can be made via email, mail or a video and must be in by August 19th. Those proposals with extra creativity will get extra consideration. Proposal winners will be notified on August 24th.
