Talk about bad luck. This video we recently found posted on YouTube shows the aftermath of a rather nasty storm at a gas station assumed to be somewhere in the mid-west. Sadly, under all that wreckage and bent metal lies a brand new Camaro SS “Special Edition.”
The narrator of the video tells us that the owner had just purchased the Camaro in Texas and was driving it back to Minnesota. The new Camaro owner pulled the SS up to the gas station to refuel during the middle of a bad thunderstorm. While he was gassing up the car, he noticed that the canopy above the car seemed a little unstable, and decided it would be a better idea to move the Camaro under another canopy several yards away until the storm subsided.
Once he parked the shiny new SS under the second canopy, a strong gust of wind came and ripped off the first canopy, and carried over to the canopy the Camaro was now under and violently smashed the whole structure down on the car. The terribly unlucky part of all this is that if he had just stayed where he was, its likely nothing would have happened to his car, and in a tragic turn of events he actually moved the SS right into harms’ way. Making the whole situation even more ironic is that this was apparently the second time in a little over a year that this particular gas station canopy had been blown off.
This is just another painful example of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
