Cadillac Brings Horsepower To The People With V-Lab Events

In an effort to attract their target audience (luxury car owners) the marketing masterminds at Cadillac have decided to bring the CTS-V directly to potential buyers. According to GM News the new events, called “V-Labs” offer potential buyers the opportunity to get behind the wheel of world’s fastest V8-powered luxury sedan. Along with the tactile experience, attendees will have the opportunity to watch driving demonstrations, receive driver training and meet the Team Cadillac Racing drivers.  This unique experience is designed to sway other competing luxury brand owners from their existing rides and give the CTS-V some serious consideration. Unfortunately, this opportunity is by invitation only to select luxury car owners, potential luxury car buyers, dealers, and certain members of the media (who aren’t us, in case you were wondering).

The last by-invitation-only V-Labs are going to be held at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia on October 14-16 and at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California on December 9-11. Cadillac will also host events that are open to the public, free of the invitation-only requirement. One such event is the Cadillac Culinary Challenge, which will renowned chefs Duff Goldman, Marcus Samuelsson and Jonathon Waxman. During the Culinary challenge the public will have the opportunity to test-drive competing luxury makes and models from BMW, Mercedes and Lexus. Another public event, titled the V-Series Performance Academy will take place at the Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch on the outskirts of Las Vegas, Nevada. Cadillac has truly taken a hands on approach to bringing their performance offerings to public in hopes of creating a loyalist following.
