We’ve seen a lot of Corvettes chopped up and modified over the years, with C3’s being at the forefront of this disconcerting movement. With the abundance of third-generation Corvettes in the world, and the fact that its fiberglass body can be modded into almost anything, it seems to be fair game. Many odd ball C3’s have appeared on CorvetteOnline, like the Glam-Basic Mako III, a Speed Racer inspired ’81, and a Pizza wrapped ’72 , but this ‘Vette might take the cake.
YouTube user Buddy713‘s video is a testament of how far someone will go to fit a Corvette body onto any chassis. If you really think about how iconic the Corvette is, its not a surprise that numerous people have incorporated the body into their builds.
While backing this monstrosity off the trailer you can clearly see the Ford logo license plate on the rear of this ‘Vette,- a sight that is sure to further add to the dismay of any Corvette purist.
When the vehicle makes it way over the berm you can tell that it captures the attention of every onlooker. This massive machine seamlessly powers through the copious amount mud to the excitement of spectators.
The Corvette body seems to preform rather well under strenuous conditions of mud-bogging. As the mud settles, one thing is for certain, Corvette maestro Zora Arkus-Duntov, would be rolling over in his grave.
For now, sit back and watch a pretty C3 run through the muck. Looks good all strafed in mud, huh?
