Walking through PRI 2014, we came across Forgeline, a company known for their extremely high quality and drool inducing selection of wheels. While Forgeline is traditionally known for their three-piece wheel designs, we caught up with David Schardt about that continuously expanding forged one-piece monoblock line.

David Schardt of Forgeline explained, “Our new 17-inch race wheel is based off the very popular GS1R wheel for the Continental series and comes in eight-inch, nine-inch, and 10-inch widths. We’ve never had a 17-inch one piece wheel so we now have the monoblock fitment for all of our customers that asked for it.”

Next up was a beautiful set of wheels designed for the all-new and highly sought after 2015 Corvette Z06 that has been created in numerous fitments. According to Schardt, “We have a C7 Z06 in-house project car that we offer the factory 20-inch fitment for as well as an 18-inch and 19-inch fitment for track usage. The factory widths are 12-inches in the rear and 10-inches in the front so we increased that to offer 13-inch rears and 13 or 11-inch fronts to fit a wider variety of tires.” 

Finally, as American muscle enthusiasts, we had to double check their Heritage series on display as it appeared to have been expanded recently. Schardt elaborated by saying, “Our Heritage series of wheels has had a lot of interest from the resto-mod and Pro-Touring crowd as well as the Japanese-inspired ‘stance market’ so we now offer numerous new choices.”
