Moser Engineering is more than just a rear axle company, they also have some incredible options in terms of brake kits, especially for high-performance and drag racing use. Their newest additions to the brake catalog will give you the stopping power you need to compete against the high speeds your musclecar will reach during competition, bringing you safely to a stop without issue.
The very newest addition to the Moser performance drag racing brake line is the 8.8 Eliminator Reduced Diameter Moser Performance Drag Brake Kit. This kit is made for the Fox Body drag race car that still uses a C-Clip Eliminator, and needs a reduced size rotor to fit under a 15-inch double bead lock wheel.
This new kit is made to fit those super tight requirements, but at the same time, it offers the braking performance essential to stopping a race car in its tracks. To make sure this kit brings you the Moser Engineering performance you’ve come to expect, the design begins with a dynamically mounted rotor that has keys which slide into the hat, which is then secured by a spiral snap ring for both serviceability at the track, and unmatched safety. This feature allows for more radial growth during heat cycles than kits using a solid mount.
There’s also an option for a stainless steel rotor and brake pad combo that gives you next level braking control during aggressive stopping maneuvers. The Moser calipers are made from 6061 T6 billet aluminum, instead of cast, and features 4-piston stainless steel calipers that stand up against corrosion.
