Edelbrock LLC‘s timeline stretches into it’s 75th year and the company is celebrating by releasing new products adorned with a special logo commemorating the semi-sesquicentennial anniversary, or in terms of aftermarket automotive royalty, the diamond jubilee. Never one to rest on past accomplishments, Vic Edelbrock Jr. says, “In this business you gotta stay ahead. You can’t sit on your hands. You have to go out and make new products.”

Going into 2013 Edelbrock has hit the upcoming year hard with a couple of signature products that are sure to popular with the do-it-yourself crowd. The E-Street EFI systems and E-Force Supercharger kits represent Edelbrock’s continuing commitment to making new products for automotive enthusiasts.

Continuing along the lines of DIY engine swaps, Edelbrock’s latest high performance crate engines include a supercharged GM LS 416 (part #46730) that promises to deliver 720 horsepower on 91 octane pump gas. If you prefer an Edelbrock carbureted crate engine for your street machine, the E-Street Carbureted 315 horsepower crate engine (part #45083) is right up your alley.

For enthusiasts that are simply looking to celebrate the diamond jubilee 75th anniversary with the worldwide Edelbrock automotive family, a line of special commemorative valve covers and air cleaners designed with a laser etched logo on black anodized aluminum are available. The anniversary edition air cleaner (part #4123) is the popular 14-inch diameter with 3-inch filter element designed to work with all 5 1/8-inch carburetors or 4 barrel throttle bodies. The anniversary edition valve covers (part #4122) feature a black anodized insert laser etched with the Edelbrock logo and limited edition anniversary logo for 1959 to 1986 small block Chevy engines.

The cherry on the top of the anniversary cake is Edelbrock’s Mustang give-away to celebrate the 75th year of business and education in automotive performance. According to Vic Edelbrock Jr, “people will be able to enter the Mustang give-away contest electronically, they don’t have to buy anything, just register for a chance.”

The car will have a special paint scheme on it with an Edelbrock supercharger under the hood, along with many other accouterments. The give-away will take place at next year’s SEMA show where one lucky contestant will drive away with a one-of-a-kind Edelbrock anniversary edition Mustang.
