We come to expect some pretty neat and common sense items from K1 Technologies since their start in the industry in 2005. This year K1 Technologies offered another simplified approach to engine builders wanting to use stroked cranks in their LS engines.
We knew that there was a market for a connecting rod that could fit shelf stock pistons and stroker cranks
“We knew that there was a market for a connecting rod that could fit shelf stock pistons and stroker cranks,” said Vic Ellinger of K1 Technologies.
The idea of using an off the shelf piston for a monster muscle engine with an affordable price tag started us to thinking about our next build. Stay tuned for that. Somewhere in the five new part numbers of connecting rods, we’re sure that we can find one that fits our needs.
K1 Technologies has also released an NHRA legal, drag pack connecting rod for Late Model Hemi engine builders. Available for the 6.1 or 5.7 Hemi’s, K1 also offers the same connecting rod for the old school 392ci fans as well.
While we were looking around the K1 Technologies’ display, we saw several rotating assembly packages. Ellinger told us that they offer “assembly packages for many big and small blocks as well as most turbo and nitrous applications.” Teaming up with Wiseco, K1 Technologies has compiled packages that include all the rotating components you need to complete that tire shredding motor that you’ve been planning, and you can get it done at a very economical price for top shelf components.
