Among a handful of other fine cars, if you are a Corvette or Porsche owner, you only want to purchase the best should you decide to change any of the parts on your beloved car for an aftermarket upgrade. When you think of the top producing manufacturers for exhaust systems, Billy Boat (B&B) Performance Exhaust has to be one of those that come to mind.

We had the opportunity to sit down with William Boat and look at a few of their new products, specifically those in production for the new C7 Stingray.

In showing me a full exhaust layout, William explained, “We’ve been working on the bimodal C7 systems a lot. I’ve seen guys adding valves, but the internal design of the muffler, is where the sound quality really increases. You really have to understand those design aspects to achieve the results you want. Accordingly, we think our product is very unique because of our design, and should produce the rich sounds people are looking for.”

Moving to the front of the vehicle’s system, William said, “When testing with our new Tri-Y header [originally a 4-into-1 design], we’ve seen some big power increases. We also have a high flow intake, that’s very easy to install, shown here in carbon fiber. We are currently testing these new products, and should have our official performance results shortly after the Thanksgiving holiday, hopefully early on in December.

We are certainly looking forward to seeing what type of performance B&B is able to achieve with the new components. While they are a quality producer for Corvette times, certainly keep them in mind for all types of vehicles, both European and domestic!
